Ruairi Glen Quartet

Young Musicians Ruairi Glen, Ben Holroyd, Luka Barrie and Magnus Barnwell come together to play a modern twist on the songbook of John Coltrane. Replacing piano with guitar, this band explores modern jazz while staying firmly rooted in the intensity and deep lyricism of Coltrane's music. Expect searching improvisation, powerful groove and a unique spin on the music of one of the great jazz improvisers.
