“Marvin Muoneké delivers a voice that transports you to the golden age of jazz.” - Jazz Journal

Settle into your seat, order that roast and let Marvin Muoneké work his magic. A true modern jazz stylist with a baritone smoother than velvet and deeper than an old Blue Note pressing, Marvin brings the rich spirit of 1950s vocal jazz into the now with grace, warmth and swagger.

Nicknamed “The Young Man with The Old Soul”, Marvin channels a lineage that runs through Nat King Cole, Billy Eckstine and Johnny Hartman, yet his phrasing is all his own - full of subtlety, wit and that rare sense of swing that can’t be faked. His originals echo the craft of the American Songbook while slipping in his own distinctly British charm.

Marvin has shared the stage with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, the Vince Dunn Orchestra and award-winning swing collective Down for the Count. In 2024, he fronted a sold-out show with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra in a Sinatra celebration that had critics reaching for their superlatives and festival bookers knocking at the door.

He’s also a composer and arranger with serious chops, often orchestrating his own material with the flair of Quincy or Nelson Riddle. Whether delivering “Autumn Leaves” with candlelit elegance or swinging through “Almost Like Being in Love”, Marvin draws you into a world where the suits are sharp, the lyrics matter and the bassline always walks tall.

Join us for an afternoon of impeccable jazz, top-tier dining and the kind of atmosphere that turns a lunch into a proper occasion. This is Saturday at Boisdale with style, soul and serious musical calibre.
