Formed in 2001, She'Koyokh are celebrating their 25th anniversary year.

They have enjoyed an extensive touring career, with highlight performances at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Wigmore Hall and Southbank Centre in London, Madrid's Fundación Juan March, the Gasteig in Munich, WOMAD and Sziget festivals and Aldeburgh's Snape Proms.

They have toured all over the British Isles, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Denmark, Turkey, Cyprus, Serbia, Morocco, Austria, Spain, the Canary Islands and Norway, as well as making regular live appearances on BBC Radio 3 and enjoying collaborations with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the Aurora Orchestra, the Cypriot trio Monsieur Doumani and South-Indian violinist, Jyotsna Srikanth.

She'Koyokh's line-up is as diverse as their music making. Their members hail from Turkey, Serbia, Spain and the UK. Three members are graduates from London's prestigious Royal Academy of Music, two are esteemed jazz musicians, accordionist ?ivorad Nikolic is one Serbia's finest players of traditional folklore. Singer Çigdem Aslan, is a celebrity in the world of rembetiko music and Susi Evans was hailed "the Queen of klezmer clarinet" by the Clarinet & Saxophone Society of Great Britain. All seven are virtuoso musicians with two decades spent absorbing and performing the rich folk music traditions of Jewish Eastern Europe, Turkey and the Balkans.

Four globally acclaimed albums have earned She'Koyokh rave reviews in the Guardian, Evening Standard, Gramophone, Songlines fROOTS ad BBC Music Magazine. The band are on the verge of releasing their fifth studio album and are looking forward to performing in the Berlin Philharmonic Hall in November.
