Velentress are an alternative rock band from Southeast England. Their music draws on classic and modern rock with elements of funk and indie blended with a dark influence to create songs that linger.
With lyrics that explore obsession, loss and identity, Velentress find melody in the darkness. Every track is built to stay with you - sharp, brooding, and unmistakably theirs.
Dean Parker - Alt / Rock
Dean Parker is a guitar player, singer, songwriter and producer who has found his own mercurial voice as the alt-rock raconteur.
Born and raised in North-East England, he's been beneficially brainwashed by the likes of Jason Isbell, Jeff Buckley and Jackson Browne while making sure to come into the fold with his own sensibility and stubbornness.
2022 saw not only the start of his solo career and release of his debut EP, This All Tastes Like Yesterday, but also a myriad of performances including a US tour that saw him reach Austin, TX, Memphis, TN, and everywhere in between.
