London-based singer, songwriter, and producer Steven Bamidele returns to Brighton with a headline show at The Prince Albert, presented by Folklore Sessions. The date follows recent performances supporting Hot 8 Brass Band and Sly5thAve, alongside solo shows at Brick Lane Jazz Festival, Homegrown Festival and The Great Escape.
“The Fool feat. Sly5thAve” garnered support from Emma-Jean Thackray, Huey Morgan (BBC 6Music), ‘Round Midnight (BBC Radio 3), BBC Radio London, KCRW, Worldwide FM, Soho Radio, Somewhere Soul and playlisting on Jazz FM and Spotify’s State Of Jazz.
With “The Fool”, Steven Bamidele carves out a space that is uniquely his own—melding intricate storytelling with bold, genre-blurring production. “This song feels like a shift, like a new chapter opening,” he says. “It’s going to be incredible playing it live.”
