The songwriting partnership of guitarist/composer Adrian Fisher and singer-songwriter Philip Stuckey began in 2017. Soon after, the debut album, Calling, was launched to great acclaim in 2018. This was followed up by the successful fantasy driven album, The Watcher, in 2020 and the much loved Days of Innocence in 2022 which was voted one of the best albums of that year within prog circles.

The band always strives to be different, producing songs that are melodic and memorable whilst pushing the boundaries of musical structure and composition. Live performances are energetic and powerful, bridging the demands of heart warming melodic rock and thoughtful neo-prog.

The Stuckfish evolution continues with "Stuckfish IV" in the discography with songs that journey into unexpected places both musically and lyrically. The songs are essentially stories, travelling on soundscapes that vary from 70’s and 80’s style melodic rock to neo-prog cinematic composition.

This album constitutes the most ambitious work yet for the songwriting partnership of Adrian Fisher (guitarist/producer) and Philip Stuckey (vocalist/lyricist) with the line up of Phil Morey (bass), Adam Sayers (drums), and new keyboard player Paul McNally providing significant composition skills and the talent to perform the music in a live context.

"Stuckfish IV regales the listener with gorgeously melodic, lushly verdant soundscapes, with impeccable musicianship and beautiful vocals, shot through with a freshness and boldness, demonstrating that the band is more than capable of evolving further, in a proggier direction, and all the better for it."Béla Alabástrom
"Quality output from a class act" Gary Mackenzie Prog Mag
"Fantastic melodic prog rock" Dave Ling, Classic Rock Magazine
''The plaudits are coming in thick and fast for Stuckfish" Prog Mag.
