Artist info

Hevelwood takes folk stories both ancient and new and overlays them with digital fuzz and uncertainty. A Leeds-based producer working with traditional song, he has released 2 EPs of folk song interpretations and his debut LP Of Greatness Receding was released in Autumn 2023. Hevelwood's live sets develop the lore further, leaning into the intimacy and immediacy of a stripped back acoustic set from the raw power of a cappella ballads to richly layered vocal harmonies.

Kairos are Kasia Sikora Black and Rosie Hayes, who met whilst unlearning all of their formal training to become music therapists. Years later - having developed a deep friendship and accumulated many an evening spent tinkering with harmonies and exploring the magic of two voices stitched together - they are putting out their fledgling set of new takes on some of their favourite tunes, with a folky/eclectic spin. Their socials are a work in progress (watch this space!), but @kasiasikorablack is currently touring with a Nordic folk group, whose beautiful work you can check out @Songleikr.

Mike Chater is based in Shipley a stones throw from Northcliffe. Over the last few years he's recorded an eclectic mix of music in his spare room and played intimate gigs in and around Bradford. Expect finger style folk and bluesy guitar playing with introspective lyrics and a versatile singing style.
