Terrorvision at the beautiful outdoor venue The Parade Ground, Fire Station Sunderland - Fruday 29th August.

Street food, live DJ's and outdoor bars.

Formed in 1988 in Bradford, Terrorvision signed to EMI in 1991 and burst onto the
rock scene with attitude-laden debut Formaldehyde, which spawned their first-ever
top 30 single My House. They decamped to New York to record second album How
to make friends and influence people with alt-rock uber producer Gil Norton – which
went on to produce five top 30 singles in 1994, including Oblivion and Alice What’s
the Matter. Third album Regular Urban Survivors saw the band finally crack the top
10, with Perseverance, featuring its festival-friendly ‘whales and dolphins’ refrain.
1998s Shaving Peaches saw a shift in direction, and a remix of the album track
Tequila reached the heady heights of number 2 in the UK singles chart. Calling time
in 2001 after fifth album Good to Go - when the craziness took a firm hold – the band
split but then reunited on and off between 2005-2015, releasing one new album
Super Delux in 2011. Fast forward to 2024, and the first album of all-new, original
songs WE ARE NOT ROBOTS! – a 37-minute riot of shiny pop hooks and in-yer-
face hard rock was released in September, scoring the band their first Top-30 album
in over 20 years!
