In June 2026, Ian Curtis would have turned 70. To mark the occasion, The Dose curate a powerful night of music and memory, honouring one of the most singular voices in post-punk history.

At the heart of the evening is Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures, performed in full. An album that reshaped the sound and emotional language of the late 70s, Unknown Pleasures remains stark, restless, and timeless. For The Dose, it's a record that carries deep artistic significance, making this celebration both personal and reverent, not nostalgia, but communion.

Fresh from one of our favourite shows of 2025 alongside Gang of Three, The Dose return with a performance that promises intensity, precision, and feeling in equal measure. This is not a tribute that fades into the background. It's one that hums, pulses, and lingers.

Support comes from two acts perfectly attuned to the evening's atmosphere:

Liminal Project
Darkwave that thrives on contrast. Intensity meets stillness, rhythm dissolves into atmosphere. Their songs feel like soundtracks to forgotten futures and half-remembered dreams, romantic, physical, and suspended in a beautiful tension between movement and melancholy.

Macks Nyahoe & The New Big Express
Industrial post-punk with teeth. Frontman Macks Nyahoe leads this Liverpool-based dance-punk unit with synths, vocals, and triggers, backed by guitar, bass, and a percussion setup built from toms, kick, and raw sheet metal. The result is relentless, hypnotic, and fiercely danceable, groove locked tight with aggression and pulse.
