The Loft – March 2025 tour

Seminally seminal…” – Steve Lamacq

The Loft, original Creation Records legends, set out on a UK tour next March in support of their forthcoming, ‘debut’ album.

The original line up of Pete Astor, Dave Morgan, Bill Prince and Andy Strickland, embark on their first ever UK club tour, 40 years after the classic ‘Up The Hill And Down The Slope’, topped the indie singles chart.

Since their infamous onstage split at the Hammersmith Palais in ‘85, their status as one of the UK’s most influential guitar bands of the 80s continues to grow and to influence a host of younger artists.

“It’s incredibly exciting to not only be setting out on tour again, but now with a brand new set of songs to play alongside some of our, ahem, ‘greatest hits’, says drummer, Dave Morgan.

“The Loft has always been just the same four people and it’s a real thrill to be playing across the UK with the band again. We’re sounding better than ever…”

Don’t take their word for it.

Yeah Yeah Noh

Yeah Yeah Noh are an "unpop" group formed in Leicester in 1984. They released 2 albums and 5 singles then disappeared until reforming in 2012.

YEAH YEAH NOH
“My favourite mix of sneery post-punk and swooshy psychedelia” – Stewart Lee.

Yeah Yeah Noh are an unpop group formed in Leicester in 1984. Creators of gold-dust LPs and 45s, classic John Peel sessions and more recent Marc Riley session showstoppers. Originators of an entire Mojo genre: 'calor-gas psychedelia'. And stars of every Cherry Red comp released this millennium. Currently rewriting history with the recording of a new LP – Disorientation – this one-off gig in the present day represents your last chance to see/hear Yeah Yeah Noh’s greatest hits/oldies set for the foreseeable future.
