The Silver Bars

The Silver Bars are an indie rock outfit hailing from Barrow-in-Furness, carving out their own space in the UK's vibrant alternative scene. Known for their high-energy live shows, they quickly made a name for themselves on the local circuit before turning heads further afield. A string of EP's and singles has since seen the band land slots at major festivals including Kendal Calling and YNOT, as well as support slots for Jake Bugg, The Royston Club, and Scouting for Girls.

Now, with a highly anticipated debut album on the horizon for summer 2026, produced by Ant Chapman (Franz Ferdinand, Klaxons, Squid) their bold new single 'Headwind' leads the way for the most exciting chapter to date for the band. The song, which dropped on February 27th, is a heavier-edged track which fuses uplifting indie melodies with wry, clear-eyed undertones. It also carries a statement of intent; an ambition to prove why they're one of the most compelling emerging acts in the UK right now.
