Powerhouse alt-rockers The Virginmarys are back, with an album and tour unlike any they've done before.
The "Beyond The House of Fires" Tour features stripped-back and intimate reworks of tracks from the critcally-acclaimed "The House Beyond The Fires" album.
Frontman Ally Dickaty explains: "We'll be recreating the intimacy of the '90s MTV Unplugged shows and showcasing songs from the upcoming "Beyond The House of Fires" album. We'll also be joined by one of our favourite guitar players, Gareth Price, while I'll be playing piano throughout the set."
Stripping away the heavy distortion that defined their previous release, the new versions reveal the craft beneath the power. With a greater focus on songwriting, mood and emotion, "Beyond The House Of Fires" places the band's raw musicality and storytelling firmly in the spotlight.
