They’ll perform songs from their latest album, Soft Tissue, featuring tracks like “New World”, “Don’t Walk, Run”, “Falling, the Light” and “Soon to be April”.
Tindersticks' sound is deeply atmospheric, blending alternative rock with jazzy textures, delivering complex, melancholic, and intimate music.
Active since 2015, the group—Luís Ricciardi, João Sala, Miguel Barreira, Gonçalo Bicudo, and Diogo “Horse” Rodrigues—recently released their third album “Vice Versa” (October 2024), featuring songs like “Sorte Minha”, “Fetiche Fonético” and “Papel de Jornal”.
Combining the maracatu rhythms from his Brazilian roots, the melancholic touch of Portuguese fado, and the freedom of jazz, the group creates a cross-cultural musical journey filled with depth and feeling.
Known for both his studio work and live sets, Rui brings a refined selection that spans disco, funk, and electronic music, always with a focus on the dancefloor and an intelligent groove.
With doors opening at 7:00 PM, the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM begin at 8:00 PM in the Amphitheatre of Marechal Carmona Park, followed by the First Concert and then the Main Concert on the Ageas Stage. After the main concert ends, the Late Nights kick off at the Amphitheatre in Marechal Carmona Park.
