Published by PC-Press in a lavish hardback editions, also available in paperback these two books (Book Alpha and Book Beta) document the rise of DJ Culture, street life, subculture and life in 1980s Britain.

Beezer will be in discussion with Sian Pattenden plus Ralph Moore will be reading from his book 'On Tour: A Wild Ride in the Dance Music Press'. Afterwards there is a DJ set from Alex Turnball.

'Beezer is an amazing photographer and this collection of images shows that in beautiful detail. But also, importantly, he is a historian capturing vital but too often untold moments of our culture, as they unfold before him.' Neneh Cherry

'It's just as important when someone behind the camera is actually part of that community. That's a very, very, important thing, those years (1982 - 1986) were very important in Bristol, in the wild, wild West as we call it, because you need someone on the inside able to capture these great, great moments. Beezer is that person. Inside Culture.' Goldie

'Seeing these pictures is like taking a deep dive into the deepest ocean of memories. Beezer has always had a way of being an intrinsic part of everything and at the same time he has always been possessed with an acutely observational forensic eye. Because he is also part of the energy, his pictures have an intimacy that it is impossible to manufacture. His pictures are our shared truth, our shared youth, our shared joy and pain and loss and triumph.' Andi Oliver
