More information about Urzah: A Tranquil Void UK Tour tickets

Urzah are a progressive sludge metal band from Bristol blending sludge, doom, post-metal and post-hardcore. Formed in 2020 just before the pandemic, the band quickly established their collaborative and productive writing style with the release of their self-titled EPs I (2020) and II (2022), laying the foundation for their evolving sound.

Often compared to Neurosis, DVNE, Mastodon and Elder, Urzah combine abrasive punk and post-hardcore energy with atmospheric post-metal passages and soaring melodies to create their own brand of progressive sludge.

"Doom-infused progressive metal of the highest order. Somehow this
quartet create a sound that's so massive it feels like it has its own centre of
gravity. Man, this band are sick!"
~ Alex Baker > Kerrang! Radio

"It is a constantly surprising, immensely satisfying listen that somehow
manages to combine genre-pushing experimentation with real classic
metal sensibilities. Urzah are destined for great things."
~ Distorted Sound - 10/10
