The London Shpilers bring Yiddish theatre kvetching and screaming into 2026 with their debut performance: a hilarious and moving mishmash of new writing, sketches and extracts from Yiddish classics.

Directed by comedian/writer David Schneider, theatre artist/Yiddish educator Tamara Micner, and East End historian/singer Vivi Lachs, the company consists of professionals and non-professionals, Yiddish speakers and non-Yiddish speakers.

No knowledge of Yiddish is necessary. Though by the time you leave, you may well feel - to use a Yiddish word - like a maven.
