Yndling is known for her use of heavy guitars over big synthscapes, introspective lyrics and a soft vocal delivery. Her take on dream pop draws association to acts like Cocteau Twins, Portishead, Massive Attack and Beach House, blending shoegaze, indie, and trip-hop into a cinematic and emotionally rich world. Her sophomore album, Time Time Time (I’m in the Palm of Your Hand), has been released in two parts over the course of 2025, with the first chapter arriving June 6th via Spirit Goth and the full album anticipated for Nov 6th. The album is an exploration of these different genres that makes up Yndling’s unique sound; While part one leans into a heavier, shoegaze-inspired sound, part two takes a softer, more vocal-forward and percussive approach influenced by trip-hop pioneers like Massive Attack and Portishead.
