An uplifting, family-friendly summer festival of the finest folk, roots and acoustic music in beautiful leafy parkland

Folk by the Oak is just outside London but feels a million miles away. With a reputation for programming a 'line-up of headliners', including both award-winning musicians and inspiring new talent, FbtO maintains a friendly, relaxed atmosphere whilst still delivering the full-on festival experience!

It's a unique opportunity to experience a collection of exceptional live artists in one memorable day; the music alternates between the intimacy of the tented Acorn Stage and the open air festival buzz of the Main Stage, meaning you can catch every single set, all surrounded by the leafy and historic setting of Hatfield Park.

The carefully curated stages are complemented by a world of creative festival fun for all ages including craft stalls and workshops, dancing, yoga, storytelling, circus skills and more plus a dedicated Family Area. You can even bring your own picnics and drinks as well as sampling the delights from our lovingly hand-picked festival food stalls, real ales and cocktails.

Gather friends and family for Folk by the Oak Festival... join in with the activities, browse the stalls, dance along or simply kick back and enjoy a whole day of outstanding live music!
