THE SKIDS Au Pairs formed in late 1978 in Birmingham, UK in the post-punk era. Lesley Woods led the band as frontperson, lead singer, songwriter and guitarist. Lesley was once described as “”one of the most striking women in British rock”.

The Skids celebrate their third studio album 'The Absolute Game', which was their most commercially succesful album reaching the #9 in the UK album charts.
'The Absolute Game' featured the singles 'Circus Games', 'Goodbye Civilian' and 'Woman in Winter'.
The Skids are a punk/new wave band who formed in Dunfermline, Scotland in 1977. They went on to have 10 singles in the UK charts including 'Into The Valley', 'The Saints Are Coming' (later covered by U2 and Green Day), 'Masquerade', 'Working For The Yankee Dollar', 'Animation' and 'Charade'.
Legendary Post Punk group AU PAIRS are back for their first shows in over 40 years.
