With Easter arriving a little earlier this year, and with many of us still longing for longer days and softer light, we invite you to spend a gentle morning exploring your creativity as we step further into the fullness of spring.

At Easter, across many traditions, light is a symbol of hope and renewal, a quiet promise of brighter days ahead. In that spirit, we look to the future with expectation, creating botanical lanterns to illuminate the path before us.

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you will decorate a beautiful glass lantern to bring warmth and radiance into your home. 

Using dried flowers, delicate floral motifs and seasonal details, you will design a luminous centrepiece of flickering beauty, stamped with your own vision and personality.

Celebrate the turning of the season, embrace the light, and craft something that glows long after spring has unfolded.

Please note:

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and must remain under close supervision as there is deep water and numerous poisonous plants. 

Registered support dogs are welcome in the Garden, no other pets are allowed.

Unfortunately we cannot look after your luggage and we don't have any cloakroom facilities at the Garden. 

There are a couple of council bike racks on Royal Hospital Road, unfortunately we do not have racks in the Garden due to lack of space and we can't look after your bicycle for you.
