Fela Kuti's former bandmate Bukky Leo assembles some of the finest afrobeat players in London to honour the life and legacy of a musical icon.
A pioneer of the afrobeat genre, Fela gifted the world songs like 'Beasts of No Nation', 'Zombie' and 'Water No Get Enemy'.
Bukky himself is undoubtedly one of the most important afrobeat musicians alive today. His 'Felabration' show here in Camden five years ago, paying homage to the great man's music, was such a hit that we had to bring him back to mark the birthday celebrations of one of the most crucial musicians and icons of the 20th century.
