More Information about Melbourne Hall Live

Live At Melbourne Hall gets summer underway with a three-day festival in a brand-new, open-air site at the South Derbyshire stately home. Taking place 24–26 July, Crow Park at Melbourne Hall will host UK headline favourites Jo Whiley, Lightning Seeds, The Shires, Scott Mills’ Pop Party, Maxïmo Park and lots more.

Across the weekend, the grounds will be transformed into a picturesque scenery of festival decor, the perfect backdrop for a celebration of live music and DJs spanning over three decades of British talent. This brand-new site will host full stocked bars as well as street food from our award-winning event partners with veggie & vegan options available too.

Friday’s DJ-led celebration channels the spirit of the 90s and the pure joy of pop culture, with Jo Whiley reviving the decade she helped define, Scott Mills delivering the biggest mainstream hits from then and now, and Toby Spin adding a fresh twist that keeps the night buzzing.

Saturday shifts into indie-rock euphoria, where Lightning Seeds bring their shimmering, melodic anthems to the lawns. Maxïmo Park follow with their trademark, literate, high-energy performance - alive with the emotional intensity and restless reflections that power their new album Stream of Life and driven by the urgent, celebratory energy that has made them one of the UK’s most exhilarating live bands for over 20 years. Riding The Low add the raw, Midlands-rooted indie spirit that feels right at home in Derbyshire’s landscape, while Propaganda DJs keep the festival feel alive long into the evening.

Sunday’s sunshine sets the stage for the UK’s finest country artists. The Shires return with their Nashville-approved harmonies, Ward Thomas bring heartfelt storytelling through their renowned sisterly blend, Catherine McGrath offers warm acoustic emotion shaped by both Ireland & Tennessee and Minna’s adventurous folk tones drift beautifully across the gardens - creating a pastoral finale to the weekend.
