Using Herbs in Times of Transistion at Chelsea Physic Garden

Imbolc is a celebration of changes occurring within the soil before being visible. Echoing this, our bodies go through subtle shifts with every transition of life, whether seasonal, emotional or physical. In this Imbolc event, we will explore how the herbs growing at this time of the year support us in times of transition. 

The session will involve:
 - A herb walk in the garden to recognise medicinal herbs.
 - A blind tea tasting, exploring directly the effect of the herbs on the body, and learning to support our tissues internally.
 - the making of a herbal balm to support and nourish our tissues topically. 

 

When you arrive:
- Please have your ticket ready - printed or on your device - before you arrive.
- Entrance will be via 66 Royal Hospital Road.

Your admission tickets will be emailed to you.

Please note:

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and must remain under close supervision as there is deep water and numerous poisonous plants. 

Registered support dogs are welcome in the Garden, no other pets are allowed.

Unfortunately we cannot look after your luggage and we don't have any cloakroom facilities at the Garden. 

There are a couple of council bike racks on Royal Hospital Road, unfortunately we do not have racks in the Garden due to lack of space and we can't look after your bicycle for you.

Concessionary rates are available, please contact us if you wish to discuss concessionary tickets.
