General Access Info

If you have any accessibility requirements and are planning to attend an event at Boom Leeds or Canalside Community Music Space, we ask that you contact us in advance so we can discuss your requirements and make sure you’re properly supported on the night.

The accessible viewing area on our ground floor has a limited allocation. Please contact us in advance to discuss your requirements before purchasing tickets.

For accessibility enquiries, please email: bookings@canalsideleeds.com

If you have already purchased a ticket and later realise you have accessibility requirements, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.

Ground Floor Venue (Venue Room 1)

The main entrance to the ground floor has four steps.
Step-free access is available and can be requested in advance, or please speak to our door team on arrival — they will be happy to assist.

The ground floor includes:

  • An accessible toilet
  • A dedicated viewing area for wheelchair users and ambulant disabled customers

The accessible viewing area must be arranged in advance and is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To discuss availability, please email: bookings@canalsideleeds.com

First Floor Venue (Venue Room 2)

Our first-floor venue is accessed via an internal staircase with 16 steps.
Unfortunately, this space is not currently accessible via lift or ramp. We recognise this limitation and are committed to improving accessibility across the building as part of our ongoing development.
